Down the Middle Politics May Save Our Nation

Polling conducted in 2019 revealed that 40% of voters are not interested in being identified with a party. This shows that there are a number of people who are seeking to approach politics independently, or, at least, a lot more moderate than the existing parties.

If you ask me, this will produce a much more objective election result. Of course, the political strife and war continues to rage between the two parties; however, voters are distancing themselves from a way of thinking that bars them from objectively analyzing the policies of their preferred party.

On this note, I am calling for political common sense to please stand up. This nation will not soar to the heights of its full potential unless we start looking at policies through an objective lens. The comedian Chris Rock considers voting from a Democratic or Republican standpoint to be nonsensical. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that you can’t lean to one of the two, but it is your duty as a citizen of America to be unbiased when it comes to your vote.

Let us choose our children, our families, and our nation before we choose a party.
